purpose of Helping Israel Fund is to raise money to supply vital non-military items to the brave men and women serving to defend Israel. Donations and the net proceeds from events are directed to multiple worthy organizations and are designated for projects without any or minimal administrative fees associated with them. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) are the front line of defense for the state of Israel since its beginnings. Israel provides the equipment and other basics that make the IDF the premier fighting force it is, and yet there are many essentials for which it does not budget because the vast amount of funds, by necessity, are allocated for armaments and defensive needs of different kinds. The Helping Israel Fund, Inc., is a 501c (3) non-profit public charity. The primary purpose of the charity is to raise funds for Israel and the Israel Defense Forces.
