Helping Hands Charities is a domestic non profit 501(c)(3 ) organization in the State of Florida established to serve the community. It started with people donating surplus of food from their own pantry. As you may know, we are located near two military bases and as the families permanently change stations, they donated canned goods, household items and other small appliances. With group of volunteers, we had garage sales of these items and money raised was put back to purchased more food for the pantry. Later on, people were stopping by to asked for funds to help them with fuel/gas for transporation, a co-pay to pick up prescribed medications, buy a formula or diapers for a baby, needing money for water and electricity and other needs, Helping Hands Charities was organized. Helping Hands is simply group of volunteers helping out with what they have, following the examples of our Lord Jesus Christ. John 6:35 NKJV. During these months we are having Winter Food Drive to fight hunger in our community. We team up with local food banks in our area. Helping Hands is sponsoring families that needed a little help for Christmas Dinner. We give them a choice of turkey or ham, canned vegetables, dressing, rice or potatoes, fruit drinks and dessert. "But Jesus called them to Him and said, Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God." Luke 18:16 NKJV. Helping Hands partners with local charities to bring great joy to children whose parents were laid off from their jobs and just needing a little help to buy presents for their children. May - June: Missions in the Philippines Helping Hands is extending its missions in the Philippines. Psalm 86:15. Since 2013, Helping Hands with the funds designated by donors only are helping with what they can in building up God's Kingdom. Helping small churches build prayer houses, help orphanages, elderly with medicine, youth programs with food and clothing. Give thanks to the Lord for He is good and His love endures forever. We give them a choice of turkey or ham, canned vegetables, dressing, rice or potatoes, fruit drinks and dessert. Be a Helping Hand Helping Hands Charities is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization in the State of Florida and is operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, specificall We want to help families that are in need of a little help with food, clothing, gas/fuel,co-payments on prescribed medications and other small benevolence assistance. This ministry is empowered by the helping hands of all our brothers and sisters who are blessed to bless others in need. Mission Extension - We also extend a helping hand to our brothers and sisters in the Philippines who are in the missions. We do what we can by God's grace. We provide assistance to small churches, homes and civic groups involved in feeding programs, caring for the sick and elderly, rebuilding prayer houses destroyed by natural disasters and calamities and other benevolence support.
