About Senior Care Services at Hebrew SeniorLife
We’re a nonprofit, non-sectarian organization that has provided communities and health care for seniors, research into aging, and education for geriatric care providers since 1903.
With nearly 2,600 employees aligned around a common mission, goals and cultural beliefs, we’re one of the largest employers in Massachusetts.
We care for 3,000 seniors a day at our nine Boston area campuses and communities. We reach untold more seniors, families, caregivers and senior care professionals around the U.S. and the world through our research and teaching mission.
about Who We Are
For more than 50 years, the Institute for Aging Research has been challenging conventional wisdom to better understand how we age. The questions we ask – and the answers we uncover – directly impact standards of care and help seniors live more vital, meaningful lives.
Because IFAR operates within the Hebrew SeniorLife system, our researchers work in close proximity to more than 3,000 seniors each day, many of whom volunteer to participate in our studies. Their needs, struggles, and challenges drive our work. And our results are used to develop services, programs, and best practices in the treatment of common conditions associated with aging.
We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
