Dr. Lane Phillips graduated from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1997 and completed his Family Practice Residency in South Florida in 2000. After enjoying years of working in CIGNA’s insurance-owned and operated family practice clinics in Orlando, Dr. Phillips pursued medicine of higher acuity in the form of Urgent Care. While working for one of the largest Urgent Care providers in the country, he consistently achieved the top tier rank for providing medicine of the highest quality. In 2006, he went out on his own opening Heathrow Urgent Care in Lake Mary, Florida. From 2008-2012, Dr. Phillips also served as the Medical Director for Rollins College where he built their new health care center. While he will continue to be a provider for Heathrow Urgent Care, he plans to share his time with our new wellness center. “My passion for family practice and preventive medicine has never left my core values. I have spent over a decade treating illness, and I can’t help but be saddened by the amount of medicines patients are taking for conditions that are curable and preventable. I see treatments for the side effects brought on by their multiple pharmacopeia. I have a passion for treating IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) and Arthritis in particular. When doctors have searched but not found the cause of discomfort for their patients, I believe the cure is nutritional. My goal is not to treat someone with lifelong medicine use. My goal is to search for the cause of their condition, end their dependency on prescriptions, and utilize natural supplements if need be.” Danielle Thompson, P.A. was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. She started working at Heathrow Urgent care ten years ago as a front desk associate before taking time off to pursue her professional career in medicine. She attended college at the University of Central Florida and graduated from the Burnett Honors College. She completed her graduate studies at Nova Southeastern University, where she earned a Masters of Medical Science in the Physician Assistant program in 2010. Danielle will be available by appointment only at the wellness center but will continue to work at Heathrow Urgent Care. “Danielle is one of the finest providers, be a Doctor or NP or PA, that I have ever worked with.
