Heather Wells was born and raised in Vernon, FL. She graduated from Vernon High School in 1998. After earning her AA degree Chipola Jr College in 2000, she moved to Florida State University to earn her Bachelors degree (2002) and Masters degree (2003) in Accounting. She sat for the CPA Exam in November 2002, and to her ultimate joy, passed it on the first time. Feeling the urge to spread her wings in the big city, she accepted employment with one of the big 4 Accountng Firms in Tampa, FL. After two years in the big city, she was ready to come home. She moved back to Vernon and worked in a local CPA firm in Destin for over two years. While searching the internet one day, she came across a job position in Chipley at a local accounting firm. She was hired on and worked there five years, until feeling the desire to branch out and start her own firm. She opened Heather N Wells PA in July 2013.
