Tanya has a Master of Science in Business and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Kinesiology from the University of Florida. Her life’s work is to study fascia through movement and philosophy through deep contemplation. Her mission is to guide people on a path of healing by educating them on anatomy and applicable techniques that ease the mind, body and spirit. All while inspiring community around the healing process. Tanya’s main focus is Healsci’s Yoga Teacher Training Program, where registered yoga teachers and massage therapists can obtain continuing education CEUs through weekend workshops in Sarasota, Florida. HEALSCI® YOGA SCHOOL WELCOME TO HEALSCI® YOGA SCHOOL We are a yoga and meditation school founded on the principles of consciousness, spirituality, wholehearted living, and myofascial unraveling. Healsci® stands for the art and science of healing. The name is inspired by our founder’s fusion and love for both the art and science world and how they are yoked together under the study of yoga. All our teachers are graduates of our training, which means they have all completed our rigorous myofascial anatomy program which also exposes them to theories of yoga philosophy, fascial unraveling, eccentric or silk pulling, mudras, mantras, ayurveda, functional movement, yoga therapy, pranayama, and meditation. However, each teacher cultivates a personal practice in which they develop a trusting relationship with their own body, mind and heart. This organic progress grants the teacher intuitive knowledge on how to follow their heart. This is what we like to call a wholehearted path toward transcendence. We offer weekly classses, workshops and Yoga Teacher Trainings at our Yoga Studio in Sarasota, Florida.
