She has dedicated her life to aide in the healing of fellow survivors, as well as dealing with crisis intervention through the aftermath of sexual abuse. Edie shares her real-life experiences and testimony to help women find hope and develop a deeper passion for knowing God! Edie also focuses on preventing childhood abuse of all kinds through speaking events, awareness and educational programs! Edie is the President and Founder of Healing Root Ministry. Healing Root is Non-profit organization that advocated for victims of human trafficking and sexual abuse. Healing root is opening an intake center for women who have been rescued from human trafficking! Mission – Healing Root Ministry is a Tampa, Florida based Non-profit organization working to build a bridge to prevent human trafficking.
