HEAL THE PLANET, INC., a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with the IRS FEIN #47-5025170, is dedicated to promoting sustainability through education and action. Founded on July 2, 1997, and headquartered at 2460 East Commercial Blvd., Ft. Lauderdale, FL, it embarks on a mission to empower individuals—especially children and adults—with knowledge about their daily choices' impact on health, well-being, and planetary sustainability. This mission is manifested through experiential curricula focusing on nutrition, exercise, stress management, and life skills. The organization actively engages communities in South Florida by organizing events such as Heal the Planet Day, celebrating Earth Day with family-friendly activities that highlight sustainable lifestyle practices on a daily basis. In addition to community programs and initiatives like the SEED Project and Amazing Kids, Amazing Planet, Heal the Planet provides support to entrepreneurs and change-makers committed to sustainable living. Recognizing its role in fostering a globally conscious community, Heal the Planet collaborates with platforms like Amazon Smile during holiday seasons to raise funds via donations for each purchase made. Maintaining a philosophy of education and small acts leading to significant impacts, it invites individuals and groups to contribute and participate actively. The group's guiding principles include avoiding products that harm environmental sustainability such as animal products, non-recycled paper goods, GMO seeds, and synthetic chemicals.
