Jim has been in the AV industry for over 25 years and with HB Communications since 1987. Jim started as a “full line” account representative covering Fairfield and Westchester counties, and was named as the director of New Media upon its inception in 1994. This progressive department focused on the emerging non-linear editing market, as well as streaming media, broadcast video, asset management and various content creation tools. In early 2011, Jim became Vice President – Northeast Sales focusing on the MA territory, and was promoted to Executive Vice President in July 2013. Peter is responsible for HB’s Global Services organization including its managed service offerings and initiatives.  He joined HB in the summer of 2012, bringing 20 years of experience in managed and cloud services in the communications and collaboration sectors. His diverse experience includes work with early stage entrepreneurial firms and large, global enterprises. He has previously held senior positions with AT&T, CriticalPath and EMC. While Vice President at FaxNet, he lead sales and marketing efforts which earned the company recognition on Upside Magazine’s “100 Hot Companies” list. He holds an MBA with Deans Honors from Columbia University, a BA from Stonehill College and completed the Strategic Marketing Management program at Harvard Business School. Donald Guzauckas, Jr. started with HB Group, Inc. in 1989 as an AV Technician.  Trained in audio technologies and fascinated by the rapid advances of video and computer graphics, HB quickly became home.  He continues to play a key role in the evolution from AV Rental to AV Staging to Event Production, bringing new technologies and offering new services.  HB Live's focus on the Engaging Audience Experience is well delivered by the superior Event Production Team that Donald is proud to lead. Video Educators of New England (VENE) is a group of educational professionals representing institutions located throughout the New England region. Our educators share a commitment to provide instruction for students interested in using A/V solutions as a medium for instruction, entertainment, and information sharing. The Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) was founded in 1916 to advance theory and development in the motion imaging field.
