Mark & Pat Juarez were married in 1965 after knowing each other for exactly 3 whole months! They have 3 sons and 11 grandchildren. Mark is a 1989 graduate of LIFE Bible College (now Life Pacific College) in California. From 1986 to 2008, Mark and Pat served on the staffs of Pasadena Foursquare Church in Pasadena, California, Living Hope Foursquare Church in Cedar Park, Texas, and Northwest Fellowship in Austin, Texas. In 2009, Mark and Pat were called overseas to minister to the marriages of missionaries in Turkey, working with over one hundred couples over the next 3 1/2 years. Though they resumed their roles at Northwest Fellowship in 2012, Mark & Pat return annually to Turkey to continue to offer marriage intensives to the workers there, spending 6-10 weeks each spring. Their ministry reach is now extending into Eastern Europe, and Mark & Pat also work with several sending agencies to serve couples in the US while on furlough or prior to their launch overseas. Intensives provide a safe, supportive, environment where God’s processes for healing hurts, resolving conflicts, and alleviating fear are applied "The counselors we worked with helped us verbalize needs and hurts we had in our marriage.  This led to conversations with my husband that I didn't know we needed to have.  Really important conversations.  We learned how to comfort each other, listen to each other, and apologize and forgive each other."
