Who We Are Diane Harvey, our bookkeeper, has worked administratively for systems engineering and integration firms as well as for Wilmington Public Schools. Nathan Harvey maintains our computer and communications technology and provides web services. When Harvey Engineering began in 1987, it started in a single garage bay. As we expanded, renovation to an existing building on the property provided more room. Currently Harvey Engineering is operating in a restored building that has served many different purposes over it’s life, including a photo studio, dance studio, cranberry storage and a garage. As our need for more space became apparent, we prepared the building to host another business. In 1995 we moved into our current renovated facilities. A rigging company was contracted to move equipment and we settled into our current space. In the event that Harvey Engineering needs more space, the second floor of our building is partially renovated, pending a final decision on it’s application. Harvey Engineering began in 1987 making “one-off” parts for special-machine designers and OEM companies in the semiconductor market. From our small start we have grown in size and capabilities, though we still cater to companies requiring the design and assembly of fixturing and the fabrication of small quantities of unique components. Mission Statement Provide high-quality, quick-turn design and machining services for manufacturers requiring fixturing or components in prototype and short-run production quantities.
