Auto Technology Company’s roots started in the 1940s under the Crown Equipment Company name. In 1965, Crown was purchased by Harshaw Chemical Company. During the 1970s, 80s, and 90s, there were mergers with multiple companies, including: GS Equipment, Gulf Oil, Kaiser Aluminum, Englehard, Atochem and Atotech. In 2000, the company was purchased by internal management along with an investment group and became Auto Technology Company. In 2002, Auto Technology Company purchased the assets of UES (Unified Equipment Systems), formerly known as the Udylite Equipment business. Auto Technology offers a full line of automatic plating equipment, including split-rail machines, turnkey systems and programmable hoists. For plating applications where fixed cycles are performed at high production rates, the Split Rail Machine provides simple and efficient operation. Also available are off-line conveyors, live entry/exit, delayed set down or early pickups and automatic load/unload systems.
