Tim holds both an active CPA license and an active health insurance broker's license, and has more than two decades of experience designing and implementing corporate benefit programs, with a particular focus on self-funded medical programs. With the adoption of PPACA (aka ObamaCare), Tim is able to combine his CFO experience with a thorough understanding of the health insurance marketplace to assist businesses and individuals who are having difficulty navigating through the rules and regulations associated with PPACA and the new health care exchange.
From fitness center owner to financial administrator for a physician’s office, to founder of a successful hypnosis certification school and private hypnotherapy practice, Connie's professional focus has always been on improving the quality of life for others. Connie was the founding President of Nuestra Casa del Pueblo (Our House of the People), and the founding Treasurer of United Latin–Americans of Greater Frederick, MD. As a result of her leadership role in the Frederick, Maryland community, Connie was appointed to serve on the Frederick County Local Management Board as well as the Frederick County Commission for Women. Connie recently retired as Board Chair of Catholic Charities – Villa Maria Continuum. She was also co-creator of the GAL PAL program, a nationally recognized program for at-risk adolescent girls in the City of Frederick, MD. Connie offers prospective clients proven alternatives to the rising cost of health insurance, along with other cost-saving human resource programs.
While attending college, Cuca Castanera started her working career in the accounts receivable department of a dress manufacturing company. Post-college, she worked as a computer programmer and systems analyst for a major heavy equipment company. While working as a graphic artist, web designer, and competitive analyst for a Fortune 500 company, Cuca embarked on her life mission to enrich the lives of members of the Hispanic community. She was responsible for the design and delivery of Latino outreach and recruitment programs. While working as a computer applications instructor, Cuca developed a curriculum for Hispanic students and authored a Spanish computer course. She later owned and managed an Internet provider business and computer school.
Starting in 2003, Cuca began selling real estate for one of the nation’s most highly acclaimed firms, where in her first year she was inducted into the Million Dollar Sales Team. Because of her sensitivity to the unique needs of the Hispanic community, she was called upon to design and implement a customer assistance program that made home ownership for members of the Hispanic community a life-changing reality.
Cuca is excited about offering health insurance programs to the Hispanic business community, programs that will enhance coverage while significantly reducing operating costs.
