Chuck Harris founded Harris Kovacs Alderman in 1989 after many successful years as the top recruiter at Jackson and Coker. He quickly grew HKA to the second largest physician recruiting firm in the country. In 1992 Chuck founded HKA Locum Tenens and within 5 years grew it to the 5th largest firm of its type, earning it inclusion into the INC 500 fastest growing companies in 1997. It was later sold to Interim Healthcare in 1999. Chuck decided to team up with a former colleague in 2002 to create another physician recruiting firm, Jackson and Harris.
