About the Harrigan Foundation Peter founded the Harrigan Foundation in honor of his father to ensure that those in financial need, especially our service men and veterans, receive the treatment they need for addiction and trauma. Peter’s goal is to continue helping others and making a difference in the community. Alongside her husband, Peter, Doris organizes and facilitates our annual basket brigade every year and ensures the Harrigan Foundation is giving back to the community regularly. In loving memory of a man dedicated to helping people over-come one of life’s most insidious diseases. Through Harrigan Foundations affiliation with South East Florida Behavioral Health Network, people seeking treatment are screened for referrals to over 40 facilities under SEFBHN’s program. Here is a picture of our first annual Run to the Rescue event funds being donated to South East Florida Behavioral Health Network. The Harrigan Foundation Welcomes You The Harrigan Foundation creates opportunities for addiction treatment and housing for those in financial need and develops cutting edge training opportunities and educational materials for the layman and professionals in the fields of mental health and addiction treatment. The Harrigan Foundation fund raising project affiliate with the community through resources such as the South East Florida Behavioral Health Network to assist those in the need of prevention and treatment of addictive disorders. Our affiliates are associated with over 40 centers for addiction and prevention throughout the area.
