Growth was constant and steady in those first years. In 1997 Harkey Electric Inc. was incorporated, and due to increasing capabilities, was soon able to attract larger and more complex jobs. Other experienced electricians, helpers and office staff, as well as the latest equipment, were added. A new facility with office and warehouse space was built to respond to the expanding business.
