HANG TOUGH FOUNDATION, INC. was established with a profound personal inspiration stemming from both Hayley Hart's battle with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and her son Grayson's childhood leukemia diagnosis. The foundation celebrates resilience under the motto 'Hang Tough' which first came to life during the Race Across the West in 2010, where four men formed Team Hang Tough Hayley Hart in honor of Hayley. Their victory coincided with Hayley's remission from cancer. Not long after this significant milestone, Grayson was born; however, he faced his own health challenges at just under a year old when diagnosed with Infant T-Cell Leukemia. This prompted Janelle Irwin to collaborate with Michelle Hart in founding the Hang Tough Foundation to support families similar to their own.
