Downer EDI secured a $170 million contract for work on the Gorgon project on Barrow Island. The 12-month contract for the company is for miscellaneous works and includes an option for extension. Henry is one of the Directors of Handley Surveys along with his wife and life partner Celia. Henry and Celia commenced private practice in 1976 and incorporated Handley Surveys in 2002. He has witnessed and participated in the adoption and development of technological change in the surveying profession and relishes the changes that are yet to be developed. He takes pride in delivering the best service possible and provides ongoing mentoring and leadership within the company and industry too.
Mr Alex Handley
Alex is our General Manager, he is the second generation of Handleys to continue on the family legacy. Over fifteen years of experience in major projects with a background in both surveying and management, Alex constantly endeavours to create an environment where strategy, people and technology combine with the company vision of personal excellence. Beyond his Handley Surveys life, Alex has a love of the ocean and lives in Perth with his wife and four boys.
James is our Chief Strategy Officer. James spent several years within the company as the Finance and Operations Manager before being tasked with creating, communicating, executing and sustaining the company’s strategic plan. This will ensure Handley Surveys is well positioned to meet the future challenges faced in a constantly changing environment. With 20 years management experience across several industries, James brings a wealth of knowledge to the company. He is committed to balancing HSEQ requirements with operational excellence and strong financial management to ensure the company always provides outstanding service to its clients.
Michael is our Survey Project Manager. Working on a wide variety of projects throughout Western Australia, Queensland and Papua New Guinea, Michael has never shied away from a challenge to increase his skill and knowledge of the industry. He enjoys working closely with clients and aims to continually exceed expectations in service and product delivery. Now residing in Perth, he is also enjoying the fresh challenge of raising a young family.
