This aim has always been central to Founder & Creative Director Sophia Stone’s life, launching HALOTOPIA with the purpose of using her design talents to create a luxury fashion brand that reflects the beauty of a woman’s values and beliefs that shine from within, all while creating opportunities for women and children to discover their potential and live with purpose. HALOTOPIA is proud to support causes and initiatives that empower women and children while improving their communities for a bright future, including Goodwill, Junior League, Place of Hope, The Children’s Healing Institute and more. Born in Thessaloniki, Greece, and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida, Sophia’s passion for design began at an early age. After watching and helping her father, a renowned master craftsman, build custom museum-quality furniture in her family’s factory for more than 40 years, Sophia transformed her appreciation for artistry into a successful career in interior design. During this time, Sophia was called to focus her design talents on a higher purpose – to create an extraordinary fashion and lifestyle brand for women who value family, friendship, kindness, compassion and faith. By skillfully blending her expertise in fine interior design with fashion, she created the iconic Halo by HALOTOPIA, which wondrously reveals your halo and inner light. This remarkable symbol of love and light was transformed into the Halo by HALOTOPIA necklace and the one-of-a-kind handbag hardware for HALOTOPIA’s first luxury handbag collection that reflects these values and beliefs that shine from within. At HALOTOPIA, that process incorporates thoughtful design with purpose and Old-World craftsmanship. Each HALOTOPIA handbag begins with the vision of Founder & Award-Winning Designer Sophia Stone, who continues a centuries-old family legacy in fine craftsmanship and unparalleled design. She expertly sketches blueprints for both the handbags and the iconic hardware. At every juncture, Sophia is intimately involved with her handbags’ production. From hand-delivering her blueprints to the craftsmen, to personally selecting and inspecting our premium American leathers once they have returned from Italy for finishing. This ensures the highest quality materials in the making of HALOTOPIA Luxury Handbags. Once designs are finalized, every bag is handcrafted with precision by master craftsman, using centuries of refined skill to cut and sew each piece, fitting custom handles by hand. This process alone can take more than 48 total hours to create a single handbag. While every step in our process adds considerable time and effort to production, it also promises unsurpassed quality and meticulously handcrafted beauty. And that is a promise you can be proud to carry. Blending the art of fine jewelry making and architectural design, our custom designed handbag hardware is first brought to life by expertly drawn blueprints that resemble works of art. Three-dimensional models are then created to ensure the scale and shape reflect our vision. Upon approval, custom made tooling is crafted and metal samples are cast. An extensive sampling process then begins to ensure the finest quality and gold finish. Once perfected, production begins! Our premiere collection of HALOTOPIA handbag hardware took over a year to finalize, resulting in one of the most unique and meaningful examples of handbag hardware in the world – blending elegance with innovation. HALOTOPIA is brought to life by our devoted team, an inspiring community of fashionable women of diverse strengths and professional backgrounds, who share in our core values and ongoing commitment to create, inspire and serve.
