His entrepreneurial career began in college, with a delivery food service for things other than pizza (a different idea at the time). Later, after several years on Wall Street, he helped build companies in the same industry. He served as CFO or CEO at several start-ups that later either went public, grew large or were acquired, including: Thomas Weisel Partners, ThinkEquity Partners, Longbow Research and Tailor Research. HalfZeez is a novel way to save money by having trained people search for great deals on your behalf. Our trained professionals know all the latest tricks for finding a great deal. We already have saved our customers a ton of money by using proprietary techniques. Since we are just getting started, we’re still learning and getting better every day! We're happy to refund your fee if a deal is not legitimate, just let us know within a week of paying for our services. (Q) What if the deal HalfZeez is better but not a site I would buy from, can I get my money back? (Q) Do I have to purchase the product right after you send me your deals? (A) No, you can purchase the product whenever you like or not at all. You only use us to find the deal, and then it is up to you whether to actually purchase it. "I think you have a wonderful company that I will use and will recommend to my family and friends!" ), paying the Professional Shopper Fee, and following the other instructions on the Site. There are currently two types of Professional Shopper Contests: (1) the default Pre-Paid Contest and (2) a Guaranteed Percentage of Savings Contest. Professional Shopper invited by HalfZeez (in HalfZeez’s sole discretion) to enter a Professional Shopper Contest may submit Bargains ( ) in the format specified by HalfZeez by following the instructions on the Site. Bargains must comply with the Professional Shopper Brief. For Guaranteed Contests, Customer must select one or more winning Bargains by a certain time specified by HalfZeez. If no winner is selected in the qualifying round of a Guaranteed Contest, and a Professional Shopper has found a price below the TARGET PRICE listed in the Professional Shopper Brief and of the same quality and description in the discretion of LETSPLITSTHEDIFFERENCE, HalfZeez will retain the or the Professional Shopper Fee. HalfZeez will distribute the Professional Shopper Fee equally among the Professional Shopper who participated in the Guaranteed Contest and who have won a Professional Shopper Contest in the past, and Customer will have no right to a refund. If no winner is selected in the final round of a Guaranteed Contest, HalfZeez will retain the Professional Shopper Fee, HalfZeez will distribute this Fee equally among the finalists in the final round of the Guaranteed Contest, and Customer will have no right to a refund. Customer may not cancel any Professional Shopper Contest for the purpose of contracting separately with a Professional Shopper Customer meets through the Site which results in Customer avoiding paying HalfZeez any Professional Shopper Fee or any fees and charges of HalfZeez. Upon a Sale, Buying Customer will pay the Professional Shopper Fee and HalfZeez will pay Selling Professional Shopper the Professional Shopper Fee (subject to first receiving payment from the Buying Customer) minus applicable HalfZeez fees (HalfZeez Fees are already netted out of the Professional Shopper Fee when shown to Professional Shopper. The means the Professional Shopper Fee, minus the fees and charges imposed by HalfZeez and minus any applicable Taxes. Buying Customer will not pay Selling Professional Shopper any amount in excess of the Professional Shopper Fee for the Sold Bargain or to pay Selling Professional Shopper separately outside the Site in relation to the supply of a Bargain, or of Professional Shopper services that are the subject of an invoice issued through the Invoice Services. Refunds will be paid to Buying Customer using the same payment methods Buying Customer used to remit the Professional Shopper Fee to HalfZeez or via any other method specified by HalfZeez from time to time. If a refund is paid to Buying Customer or a credit card charge back occurs, then: (a) Selling Professional Shopper must reimburse HalfZeez for the applicable Professional Shopper Fee (the reimbursement will first be paid out of any HalfZeez Credits held by Selling Professional Shopper and any remaining debt will be payable by Selling Professional Shopper to HalfZeez on demand); and (b) Buying Customer will initially receive the amount of the Professional Shopper Fee, less the Applicable Fees, and will receive the Professional Shopper Fee only once the Professional Shopper Fee is reimbursed by Selling Professional Shopper to HalfZeez. HalfZeez may refund Buying Customers for the following reasons: (i) the Sold Bargain is Defective or not valid for participating customer; (ii) HalfZeez is required by law or considers that it is required by law to do so; (iii) HalfZeez determines that issuing a refund to the Customer will avoid any dispute or increased costs to HalfZeez; (iv) HalfZeez issues the refund to the Customer in accordance with any refund policy specified by HalfZeez from time to time; (v) the order placed (or request made) by the Customer is found to be fraudulent; (vi) the Customer placed a duplicate order (or request) in error; or (vii) in HalfZeez’ sole opinion, HalfZeez considers that it is likely that the refund is necessary to avoid a credit card charge back. HalfZeez’ determination as to whether a refund is required is final and conclusive and may not be challenged by you. A Sold Bargain will be deemed to be if: (i) Buying Customer and Selling Professional Shopper agree it is defective and notify HalfZeez of this fact; (ii) the Customer is unable to procure the Sold Bargain for reasons beyond the control of the Customer, that HalfZeez deems (in its sole discretion) is not frivolous; or (iv) HalfZeez deems (in its sole discretion) that the Sold Bargain is defective.
