I am also a mother of two wonderful girls Brianna and Elena. They are the most precious and amazing gift I have. Becoming a mother and seeing my girls develop their bilingual speech and language skills have changed my life and my career! As a mother, I have experienced the frustration in my girls when they struggle to communicate. Their struggle has been my inspiration to think in new ways to help my clients with communication challenges! My interest for this website started several years ago, when I noticed the limited availability of websites providing information about the Speech-Language development, evaluation, and intervention services of bilingual (Spanish-English) speaking population with communication challenges. As the time went by, more and more information became available online. However, my desired to create my very own website continued to be in my heart. My goal with this website is to provide my clients and their family members with informative comprehensive information related to the language and speech skills of bilingual population. The tips and techniques shared here are the results of my personal experience treating bilingual (mostly Spanish-English speaking) children and adults.
