In 1985, Bob Santure wasn't looking to build one of the largest structural cleaning and maintenance companies in the country. He was a small Michigan farmer looking for a way to help make ends meet. As luck would have it life had a different plan. As he completed more and more jobs Bob quickly recoginized that here was a way to improve his already growing business and to deliver a superior product and service to his clients. A student in Chemical Analyses at Michigan State University Bob went to work developing formulas to help breakdown the different types of dirt he faced with each job. The business grew by leaps and bounds, this growth was completely unexpected because the only method of advertising was word of mouth, Bob's first lesson was that happy customers talked! Soon the farm was left to his brother to run, and the trucks in the Scrub A Home fleet numbered 3. After years of hard work, business has continued to expand. From it's humble beginnings in cleaning what then was then mostly residential homes, Scrub-A-Home has expanded into other area's, such as paint removal from historic buildings, industrial, commercial and agricultural cleaning, and since 1999, H2O Towers.com. In the tradition of expansion and in keeping with our Identity we found it necessary to create a subsidiary company, one that concentrates fully on cleaning and painting water towers.
