The American Suppressor Association (ASA) is the unified voice of the suppressor industry. Their mission is to unite and advocate for the common interests of suppressor manufacturers, distributors, dealers, and consumers. To accomplish their mission, their principal initiatives focus on state lobbying, federal lobbying, public education, and industry research. We have partnered with the ASA in providing information that addresses the myths surrounding suppressors. Demo, videos and informational material are just some of the ways that Silencer Shop and the ASA help to raise public awareness. The NFA Branch has a constant backlog of Form 4 applications. Silencer Shop has met with the ATF to help improve the process and implement new programs. The end goal of the ASA and Silencer Shop is to see instantaneous approval at the point of purchase.
