The Gypsy Soul Experience. Gypsy Soul's performances are much like helps inform both their message and sound. Gypsy Soul began 20 years ago in Scotland when Roman Morykit (UK) and Cilette Swann (Canada/USA) made a promise to each other to make both their living and their lives from their art. Over the past two decades, Gypsy Soul has had a Top 40 hit with “Silent Tears” and has won numerous songwriting and performance awards including the International Acoustic Music Awards, Just Plain Folks and the Independent Music Awards among others. The duo has opened for artists such as The Doobie Brothers and Edie Brickell & The New Bohemians, has been featured on compilations with Shawn Colvin, Keb Mo and Aimee Mann, and has had their music placed in hit TV shows and motion picture films such as Providence, Felicity, 90210, Roswell, After Sex City (so we can let you know when we are touring near you!)
