GY Records LLC was born out of a need to open the door of opportunity to new budding artists that would otherwise have to struggle to be heard. To those ends GY has opened its doors for budding new artist to submit their work for us to take a listen to. It was evident quite early that many artists do not know what to expect from a very brutal industry that has a habit of chewing up new artists and spitting them out after taking whatever it can get from them; we would prefer to educate those artists whether they are signed to the label or not. Everyone at GY is passionate about what we do and music in general so we take a keen interest in all that is yet to be discovered, uncovered and bring them into the music business.
