His name was Gunter and I think it amused him to hire a kid with the same name who was no relation. It surely was a conversation starter as I spoke with people. I quickly learned how the right insurance helps people recover from unexpected and sometimes catastrophic events. It’s where I raised my children and worked as a banking executive while they finished school. When I went to Costa Rica on a Rotary International mission trip eight years ago, I met this funny and fun guy. Gary and I both loved service above self through Rotary and we married, blending our families, a few years ago. Gary and I wanted to work together in a business that, like Rotary, made a real difference for people. Our tag line, Insure the People, isn’t an accident. We believe everyone deserves to protect what is most important for them. And, we believe we provide our clients options that insure they feel protected and ready for that next challenge life always throws at us. Florida is our home. We are very committed to serving our friends and neighbors with integrity through local area Chambers of Commerce and the New Tampa Rotary Club. Both Gary and I are honored to serve as Rotary District Governors for clubs in Hillsborough, Polk, Hardee and Highlands counties. Rotary is the largest service organization in the world. And, Rotary is the reason we are “this close” to ending polio in the world. Locally, we belong to the Rotary Club of New Tampa which supports 34 local area charities and has completed five international projects. We also helped build an all-abilities playground at Rotary’s Camp Florida in Brandon with the Metlife Foundation and Kaboom! Your days are full to bursting. Working, playing with the kids and spending time with people who matter most to you. We get it. We’re on the same path.
