Dr. Gunder is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and a Clinical/Forensic Sexologist. He specializes in the evaluation and treatment of children, adolescents, adults and couples. In addition, he has provided evaluation, treatment, consultation and educational services regarding sexual behavior problems and unusual sexual interests, as well as sexual victimization and sexual dysfunction for more than 23 years. Roger earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Human Sexuality in 1998. Dr. Gunder has been a clinical member of The Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers since 1988, and he was the founding president and a member of the board of directors of the Florida Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (FATSA). He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Sexology. Mary has been in private practice since 1989 with specialties in marital and couple therapy, children and adolescents with behavioral problems, sexual victimization, sexual dysfunction and trauma recovery. In addition, she has provided consultation and educational services concerning sexual victimization, and childhood and adolescent sexual behavior problems for more than 23 years. We have been providing mental health services since 1988. Over the years we have helped many individuals, couples and families to better manage the difficulties and stressors that life brings by providing therapy utilizing a multi-modal approach. We provide services that help individuals think more rationally, and communicate more effectively, which often results in more harmonious relationships and better functioning family systems. Child and adolescent behavioral difficulties are best addressed in the context of the family, or a particular relationship within the family. As a result we often enlist parents/guardians and/or other family members to assist in the therapeutic services we provide to children and adolescents. Over the years we have earned a reputation for our knowledge and compassion in providing services to individuals and families who are confronted with some of life’s most difficult and stressful problems.
