Hello – I recently received service from Gulf Coast Air and wanted to share my experience, which was truly outstanding! We have a Mitsubishi split system which suddenly stopped cooling. We contacted the company who had installed it years earlier, however, after several service visits they were unable to diagnose the problem and repair the unit. About a year and a half ago, Gulf Coast Air had installed a brand new Trane system for us which we were very happy with so we decided to call them about the Mitsubishi issue. Our first contact was with Shauna the receptionist/scheduler who coordinated the service visit. She was very personable and polite, leaving messages, returning calls, etc. We then had Matt as our service technician. He introduced himself, set to work, and soon after explained that a wrong part had been ordered. I expressed my concern as to how that could have happened and am sure my growing frustration showed after several rounds with the initial company (which Matt wasn’t even aware of). Matt could not have been more polite, empathetic and downright determined to fix our issue. He contacted the manufacturer, ordered and tested more parts and ultimately brought Mike to the final service visit and together they fixed our system! We could have easily spent several thousand dollars replacing this system had we not contacted Gulf Coast Air for service. Instead, we paid a very reasonable price for a repair.
