Our club's mission is to enhance the image of the sport of Racing Pigeons by promoting fellowship, innovation, and sportsmanship. We are the leader in creating an atmosphere dedicated to a continual effort forward that will cultivate learning, growth, and the positive aspects of our sport. The GHC members thank you for your support. We are the largest Pigeon Club in America with 200 members and growing monthly. Our membership is a who's-who of many of the well known names of the pigeon sport. Our ideal climate and reasonable cost of homes provides a quality of life for all pigeon racers and we have favorable zoning for the pigeons! for the pigeons! We are the home of Annual Gulfcoast Classic Race since 1989. From our humble beginning, this is now the best race in America! Our low entry fees and large prize list provides real competition. Each year our entries increase with more than 4012 pigeons entered in 2014! This premier race is hosted in early December providing the sport with a festive and competitive occasion. At this time we have 1717 Classic entries. We are accepting entries until June 30th. Ship your birds early in the week for the best arrival times.
