Gaby Newmark and Zoltan "Sol" Lefkovits form G&S with five employees and go into the business of dismantling electric motors. Company opens in-house laboratory, Transformer Lab Services(TLS) Inc., which becomes accredited in NJ and NY. G&S enters the transformer rebuilding business by buying share of Northeast Transformer Services (NETS) of Cortland, NY.
