Mindy Becker, the founder of Grow With Us Academy, brings over three decades of experience working with children and families, beginning in 1990. A Barry University graduate with a major in Exceptional Student Education (ESE), Mindy was first introduced to Conscious Discipline® in 2001 while working at Children’s Rehab Network. Certified as a Conscious Discipline® Instructor since 2007 and a Loving Guidance Associate since 2016, she has presented workshops both nationally and internationally on this transformative educational philosophy. The academy stands out as the only preschool, pre-K, and kindergarten in South Florida endorsed by Loving Guidance and Dr. Becky Bailey to utilize Conscious Discipline® as its primary approach. All teachers and administrators at Grow With Us Academy are trained in this evidence-based program, which integrates social-emotional learning with discipline strategies based on current brain research. Joining the academy's team is Gigi, who possesses both a BA in Elementary Education and Sociology from the University of Miami and a Masters in Counseling and Personnel Services. She takes lead roles in administrative duties, parent meetings, and workshops alongside Mindy. Additionally, Gina Jeffries brings her expertise from managing another educational center to assist with leadership at Grow With Us Academy. Her background in private tutoring and education administration complements the academy's mission beautifully.
