Griffin’s Carpet Mart, Inc. is a family owned business. In 1978, John and Jeanne Griffin moved to Sebring, Florida with their four children, opened the business, and have operated it continually to this date. The family, (sons Tom and Jim, and daughter, Kelly,) have always been included and involved in the business. As the city grew, so did Griffin’s Carpet Mart, Inc. After graduating from High School all four of John and Jeanne’s children went to college at Florida State University. Tom and Jim focused on obtaining business/economic degrees while Kelly graduated from the Interior Design program at FSU. While in school Tom and Jim both worked in the flooring business and gained knowledge to bring home with them from Tallahassee. Kelly is a Licensed Interior Designer and is a proud member of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers). Kelly worked in the design industry for 3 years before returning to the family business.
