Greybeard Restorations’ We’re a Product of Our Experience. Greybeard Restorations’ Philosophy Using our experiences and influences, too many to mention, we have tried to fold those things learned into the GBR designs and life style. We believe in nothing mass produced. Everything is designed as one piece and then we move on to the next. Rarely is anything replicated exactly. Some may be a one-time only inspiration. The vast materials used have typically been rebirthed. Each design is made with an appreciation for the intricacies/details of the wood used; where the materials came from or what they were used for previously; or the “face” which provided the idea. For us, rustic brings us close to the earth, to simplicity. While we appreciate the collections which can be found at Pottery Barn, for example, our stuff is not Pottery Barn. It belongs to the hands at Greybeards and we are proud of that. Enjoy… We’re a Product of Our Experience. Starting mid-summer, we are going to offer a market place where we will be selling select merchandise for a limited time, switching out every 4 to 6 weeks. This will allow us to maintain efficient production of an item since nearly everything we make starts with the initial order. More about that to come later. We’re a Product of Our Experience.
