Founded in 1979 we have established ourselves as a top firm in the industry Greenhouse Real Estate was founded by Richard A. and Anne Greenhouse in 1979 as a real estate brokerage firm active in listing, selling and appraising residential real estate within Allegheny and Beaver County. Richard M. Greenhouse, Rick, joined the family business in 1980 as a Licensed Real Estate Agent and Sales Manager. When the company transitioned to appraisals he became an Appraiser Assistant in 1984 and obtained his Associates Brokers License in 1987. Greenhouse Real Estate began placing more emphasis on appraising in 1987 and by 1990 we were specializing in residential appraisals. While we are no longer involved in the traditional real estate brokerage we do offer consultation for both buyers and sellers. Rick certified as an appraiser in 1991 and became owner of the company by 1994. Bonnie McKean Greenhouse also joined the company in 1994 as Office Manager. She has over 15 years’ experience in processing and underwriting conventional and government mortgages, having worked for several different lending institutions. She reviews all appraisal reports prior to them being sent out to the client. This is a great value add to all clients. Bonnie is also a licensed real estate agent and can assist with buying or selling needs. Our long history in the brokerage, appraisal, and lending sides of the business gives us a well-rounded knowledge that is unparalleled in the industry.
