The Commission on Dietetic Registration offers certificate in training programs for the weight management of adults, as well as for children and adolescents. This intensive program not only provides up to date information on current weight management strategies, but it also provides a comprehensive review of how to properly manage overweight and obese individuals in their quest for weight loss and healthier living. The certification in food allergy management is provided by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics for dietitians to who work with patients and clients who require education and guidance on food allergies either due to personal allergies, or if education is needed in the workplace. This certificate in training provides up to date information and research to the RD on proper diagnosis, management and education on food allergies and strategies to help their clients with food allergies live safer and healthier lives. A CLT is a registered dietitian, registered nurse or doctor who receives advanced clinical training in managing adverse food reactions with an emphasis on food sensitivities. CLTs apply that knowledge by using the LEAP protocol – an evidence-based and highly effective eating plan for food sensitivity related health problems. LEAP utilizes the patented Mediator Release blood Test (MRT) to help uncover food and chemical sensitivities, You must provide at least 24 hours notice of a cancellation unless it is an emergency. You will be charged a cancellation fee if there is not an emergency. If you do not show up for your appointment (either in person or “virtually/online”) you will be charged the full amount for your appointment.
