About Green and Gentry CPAs Green and Gentry, CPAs started in 2001, as Michelle E. Green CPA, PC, a professional corporation that evolved from a Texas based company, S & P Financial Services founded in 1976. Our family owned and operated business has two offices now, one in Florida (Green and Gentry CPAs LLC) and one in Texas (Green and Gentry CPAs PC). Green and Gentry CPAs (G & G) is a matured company capable of providing a broad range of accounting, project management and business management services via a network of experienced and credentialed individuals; many of whose professional careers span more than four decades. The daughter of a U.S. Air Force Officer, Toni Gentry was born in Fairbanks, Alaska and lived in Houston, TX before settling in Port St. Lucie, FL. Toni graduated from Port St Lucie High School in 1997 in the top 1% of her class while simultaneously graduating from Indian River Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science through the Dual Enrollment Program. She attended Washington and Lee University (“W&L”) on a full academic scholarship and graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Business Management. Upon graduation from W&L, Toni was recruited to the Atlanta office of the international public accounting firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP (“PWC”). In early 2004, Toni accepted a position as a Tax Professional Consultant with ATX, Inc., a tax software development company. This position allowed her to broaden her knowledge of the electronic filing and tax software before bringing her knowledge and expertise to our firm in 2004. Toni Gentry is both an Attorney licensed by the Florida Bar and a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Florida and Texas. As a former employee of one of the largest public accounting firms, Toni’s experience is in every variation of Accounting and Taxation governed by all regulatory agencies. Toni is also an experienced bookkeeper who started working for her Mom’s bookkeeping company when she was 14 years old. Her skill ensures accurately prepared and regulatory compliant tax returns. Her extensive tax knowledge, tenacity and attention to detail allow her to effectively settle IRS and State Agency Tax disputes. Since the opening of the Port Saint Lucie, FL office in 2002, Sharon has filled the role of office manager while serving as lead consultant and trainer for accounting software, as well as the firm’s business development officer. Yolanda Mack is the Operations and Program Management Executive for Green and Gentry CPAs. Yolanda is a seasoned project/program manager holding certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP), Six Sigma Greenbelt and Six Sigma Lean certification. Her motto is: “Life is just another project. You need to manage a budget, a schedule and try to produce the best quality of life.” Yolanda graduated with High Honors from the University of North Carolina Charlotte with a Bachelors of Science Business Administration Degree in Management with a Leadership Concentration. She has an Executive Masters of Business Administration from Winthrop University as well as a Master’s Degree in Project Management from Western Carolina University. Yolanda has memberships with the Project Management Institute, the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi and the Pi Gamma Mu International Honor Society. Siomara Diaz works in our Tax and Bookkeeping departments. She is Toni’s Tax Analyst assistant. Siomara graduated from Harry S. Truman High School in June of 1995 and The Cittone Institute in May of 1996. In November of 2005, Siomara began working at Green & Gentry CPA’s and has been with the company ever since. Natalia joined our firm in January 2014. She comes to us from Siberia as a bookkeeper with 18 years of experience. Natalia has a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Banking from Kemerovo State University in Siberia. Natalia works closely with Sharon Mack to keep our clients’ bookkeeping up to date. Michelle Green, founding partner, has been a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) since 1984. She is licensed in Texas and Florida and has earned professional designations as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Business Manager (CBM), and a Forensic Certified Public Accountant (FCPA) as well. Michelle gained diverse experience during her career in banking, mortgage lending, and public accounting. Her professional tenure involved work in many areas including general accounting, taxes, payroll and human resources, budgeting, business acquisitions, controllership functions, internal audit, regulatory reporting, treasury and cash management, financial statement preparation and analysis, and other business disciplines. Since starting the public accounting firm, Green and Gentry, CPAS, P.C. formerly known as Michelle E. Green, CPA, P.C. in 2001, Michelle has put much of her expertise to work in serving the needs of the firm’s accounting and tax clients. Additionally, she has provided consulting services related to Sarbanes-Oxley internal control reviews, policies and procedures, and loan reviews for other companies. Roy Cook manages the corporate offices of Green and Gentry, CPAS, P.C. He is a degreed accountant with more than 30 years accounting experience. He was an auditor for one of the former “Big 8” worldwide public accounting firms and specialized in cost accounting during his tenure with companies in oilfield and financial services industries.
