In 1994, TherapyCare Resources Inc., parent company of Graston Technique therapy, opened an outpatient clinic in Indianapolis, where outcome data was gathered on a wide range of chronic and acute injuries. Five years later, the company turned all of its’ attention to teaching and training clinicians and continued research on the technique. Mike joined Graston Technique, LLC in 2013 as Director of Strategic Planning-PT. In this role, Mike assists the management team and leads the strategic direction targeting physical therapists, hospitals and rehabilitation company owners. He works in close collaboration with the faculty members who teach Graston Technique Currently, he also maintains a clinical practice at a local rehabilitation company with four sites in the greater Indianapolis area and is a guest instructor in orthopedic manual therapy at the University of Indianapolis. He was a clinic director in Indianapolis for 12 years for a national rehabilitation company. Prior to that, he was a physical therapist/athletic trainer for the PGA Tour and the CART racing league. Lori received her Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1984. She began her career in the area of brain injury rehabilitation, specializing in neuro-developmental treatment for adults. In 1993, she changed her focus to outpatient orthopedics and became a Certified Hand Therapist in 1994. Her interest in soft-tissue mobilization continued, leading her to the Graston Technique® in 2004. In 2008 she became a Certified Lymphedema Therapist and opened a private practice in which she blends normal movement patterns and postural restoration to improve functional performance. Lori has been a Graston Technique® therapy instructor since 2006 and became the Graston Technique® Director of Strategic Planning for Occupational Therapy in 2017. She began her career as the Assistant Athletic Trainer and Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Athletic Training at Ohio University from 1979-1982. She then moved to Akron, where she helped start the Sports Medicine Specialists Program. She currently works in the Out-Patient Rehabilitation Department of Summa Health System, treating patients with orthopedic and sports injuries and assists with the coverage of community events/sports. Terri also has provided care to the Akron Garfield High School Football Team, the Ohio Ballet Company and many community events such as the Akron Marathon. Through the years, she has held a particular interest in gait evaluations and orthotics. Terri is the former CEO/President of The Performance Edge, a golf fitness and performance enhancement company. She is actively involved with professional organizations such as OATA, GLATA, and NATA and was inducted into the Ohio Athletic Trainers Association Hall of Fame in 2004. She is also a member of the Critical Incident and Stress Management Team for Athletic Trainers in Ohio. She has been a GT instructor since 2010. Dr. Bennett studied athletic training at the University of Wisconsin, and went on to receive a master of science in physical therapy from Clarke University and a PhD in orthopaedic and sports science from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. Dr. Bennett has been a licensed athletic trainer and physical therapist for over 15 years and is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Physical Therapy & Athletic Training at Saint Louis University. Dr. Bennett continues to provide physical therapy and athletic training services as part of the sports medicine staff at Saint Louis University, and is actively involved in research involving risk assessment in sports and overuse running injuries. Dr. Bennett is apast member of the USOC Sports Medicine Staff and has worked with NCAA Div I, Div III, Olympic, and professional athletes. Currently Dr. Munger works at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center as an assistant professor in the Masters of Athletic Training program. He continues his clinical work by spending time at Lubbock Christian University, covering specific rehabilitation needs and game coverage when needed. Dr. Munger has worked in a variety athletic training settings ranging from collegiate and professional sports, to rehabilitation clinics, and as an educator in both undergrad and graduate programs for athletic training and physical therapy. Assignments have included the Amsterdam Admirals of NFL Europe, Kansas City Wizards of Major League Soccer, Texas Tech University, Lubbock Christian University, William Jewell College, and multiple Sports Medicine clinics. Dr. Munger graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy degree with an emphasis in Human Movement/Higher Education from Texas Tech University in 2010. He earned his Masters of Science in Sports Health Care from Arizona School of Health Sciences in 1997 and undergraduate degree in Sports Science from the University of Kansas in 1995. Dr. Pathak has always had a passion for learning and she decided to further her education at the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois where she received of Doctor of Chiropractic Degree and graduated summa cum laude. In addition to being a Diversified Chiropractor, she is a certified Graston Technique® Therapy Provider and Instructor, provider of Metagenics Supplements and FirstLine Therapy® Certified practitioner, certified Chronic Pain Management and Scar Release therapist, FIFA 11+ instructor, GLA:D Canada certified for osteoarthritis, McGill trained clinician and also certified in the Disability and Impairment Ratings using the 4th edition of the AMA guides. Dr. Pathak believes that "Health care is most effective when there is a partnership between a patient and their health care providers. While many conditions can be addressed through positive lifestyle choices, it is my goal to assist your body's natural healing mechanisms and to show you how to best care for yourself outside of the office."
