Scott Andrews assumed the role of Grantham University President and Chief Executive Officer in May 2017. Mr. Andrews served the university previously as a 12-year Board of Directors member, and has more than 35 years of experience in executive and board-level roles with multiple organizations. His extensive knowledge covers business strategy, financial services, entrepreneurship, team building and more. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Cum Laude, from the University of Virginia, and is a Fellows Program Graduate of The Halftime Institute (based in Dallas, Texas). Mr. Andrews has also served on a number of non-profit boards, including those for Truth for Life, Meadowkirk Retreat at Delta Farm, and the Hill School in Middleburg, Virginia. Lily Carpio has been working in finance and accounting for almost two decades, both in Fortune 500 and privately held companies. Prior to joining Grantham, she spent 10 years as controller and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), developing the accounting and financial infrastructure for a successful chemical company. Ms. Carpio earned her Bachelor of Science in Engineering and an MBA in Finance, both from Columbia University. David Eby is a seasoned marketing executive whose more than 20 years experience in higher education spans admissions, enrollment, student services and operations. Mr. Eby has held leadership roles for multiple institutions, including being chief marketing officer at Southern New Hampshire University, where he helped grow SNHU’s online division from 3,000 students to 60,000 students in just five years. Early on, he served in director positions for the Apollo Education Group’s College for Financial Planning and Alta Colleges’ Westwood Online division, and later became president of Anthem College Online and vice president of Enrollment Management at Jones International University. Prior to joining Grantham University in June 2017, he held various executive roles for Bertelsmann Education Group’s HotChalk and Arist operations. Aimee Brown possesses more than 18 years of experience in higher education marketing, advertising and admissions. Prior to joining Grantham University’s leadership team, she served as chief marketing officer at Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology, where her efforts contributed to growth from a single campus to five locations in four years. Ms. Brown also served as vice president of marketing and admissions for Kaplan Higher Education Campuses and vice president of advertising at Career Education Corporation. Throughout her career, she has been commended for her focus on results-driven marketing, growth and efficiency. Ms. Brown holds a Bachelor of Arts in Quantitative Economics and Decision Sciences from University of California San Diego. Dr. Niccole Kopit served as faculty, chair and dean of the Mark Skousen Business School before transitioning into her current role with the University. Her previous experience includes serving as a corporate trainer and publishing several training sessions in the financial and legal industries. She served as IACBE Region V’s 2015 Board President and has a long history of presenting at national DEAC and IACBE conferences, board meetings and events. She recently published “Reversing the Trend: The Effect of Full-Time Faculty on Student Persistence” and “Employer Perceptions of Military Members with Online Degree” through IABPAD. She’s been on Cambridge Who’s Who Among Executive & Professional Women since 2007. Dr. Kopit holds a Bachelor of Science from Park University, a Master of Business Administration from Webster University and a Doctorate of Business Administration from Argosy University. She also holds several certifications, including CAEL prior learning assessor, Six Sigma Green Belt and Criteria Reference Instructional Development. Vice President of Business Intelligence Ben Hoster has spent more than 15 years in leadership, consulting, strategy and performance improvement, and 20 years in information systems and analytics. Before joining Grantham, Mr. Hoster served as engagement manager with Oliver Wyman, where he advised clients across a wide range of industries, including higher education, on their most pressing analytics and technology challenges. He also served as a principal for Infosys Consulting with responsibilities for business development, client relationships and thought leadership. Mr. Hoster holds a Master of Business Administration (Summa Cum Laude) and Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Texas in Austin. Jared Parlette possesses more than 10 years of leadership and management experience in areas including admissions, advising, business development and education outreach, as well as over eight years of experience within the field of higher education. Prior to his current executive role, he served as vice president of admissions and as director of admissions for Grantham University. Mr. Parlette holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Central Missouri, a Master of Science in Performance Improvement from Grantham University and is certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt. Carl L. Hill has more than 15 years of experience in university-level instruction, educational curriculum development and academic advising. Prior to Grantham, he held a number of positions in technical career fields, including serving as a technician, engineering assistant, field service engineer, help desk analyst and electronics instructor. Mr. Hill earned his Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering Technology from DeVry University, and his Master’s in Industrial Technology from the University of Central Missouri. Jennifer Ligenza has 20 years of experience in records and registration for institutions both large and small, public and private. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Elms College and a master’s degree in administrative studies from Boston College. During her career, Ms. Ligenza has fulfilled the roles of registrar, institutional researcher, chief retention officer and associate vice president, consistently focusing on employing technology to achieve continuous business process improvement.
