GRAND SPORT REGISTRY LLC is a vibrant enthusiast organization dedicated to enhancing the ownership experience of Grand Sport Corvettes. Originally rooted in sharing information within Corvette communities through forums, correspondence with clubs, and involvement in events like those held by the National Corvette Museum, GRAND SPORT REGISTRY has evolved into an active platform for car enthusiasts. While focusing notably on production line Grand Sport Corvettes, it also honors the historical significance of the original models developed under Zora Arkus Duntov in the 1960s. From its beginnings as a passionate endeavor by JVD to ensure Corvette owners could fully enjoy their vehicles, the organization expanded rapidly. In 1998, leadership was entrusted to John "Hutch" Hutchinson, who further legitimized and expanded GRAND SPORT REGISTRY's mission, eventually creating an extensive network of members that now spans from across the United States into Europe and Australia. This growth also included detailed tracking of over 90% of the 1996 Grand Sports models. The introduction of the C6 Grand Sport in 2010 marked another significant expansion, allowing the organization to embrace these new world-class Corvettes within its fold. Licensed by General Motors as the only authorized Grand Sport enthusiast group using GM trademarks, GRAND SPORT REGISTRY remains committed to spreading interest and enjoyment among Corvette owners worldwide. Based out of Orlando, Florida, and registered under the state’s Limited Liability Corporation (LLC) structure with the incorporation filed on May 6, 2015, the organization maintains a strong community presence. Membership is available for collectors of various Grand Sport models including those from 2017 onward in C7 series as well as those in possession of lifetime memberships at the National Corvette Museum.
