). Jiu Jitsu changed my life. I started training in Connecticut at the age of 34. In 2012 I moved to Florida specifically to train with Rob Kahn at Gracie Tampa. Rob is Royce Gracie’s first black belt and has produced multiple UFC fighters and ADCC veterans. Rob’s strategy based system of jiu jitsu is what I teach at Gracie Bradenton. Josh Leduc is a Brown Belt under Bill Murphy and Rob Kahn, having a wealth of experience in competition as well as a coach and an instructor. Josh has an undefeated MMA record with all wins by submission, and holds titles in many BJJ and Grappling tournaments; as well as an MMA title. Recently Josh has been competing in the sub-only game, having competed and won internationally. Josh is the head kids coach. Along with teaching world class jiu jitsu, the kids will learn self esteem, self discipline, get increased motivation, better grades, and of course, become bully proof through self defense! Gracie Bradenton is a member of the Gracie Tampa Schools network, a network that has produced multiple UFC fighters and Abu Dhabi Combat Club Veterans. (ADCC is the Olympics of Jiu Jitsu). Since joining the Gracie Tampa family, I have been privileged to train with and learn from these killers, including Robby Donofrio and Matt Arroyo as well as so many other talented black belts in the network. My coaches are super talented and awesome people. I have gained so much jiu jitsu wisdom from these guys as well as all of my beastly training partners, past and present! The Gracie Bradenton staff has been involved in multiple defensive tactics training sessions for law enforcement in both Connecticut and Florida. Gracie Bradenton has instructed members of: Hillsborough County Sheriffs, Hartford Police Narcotics, Intelligence and DEA divisions and Temple Terrace S.W.A.T. Sonny Parlin is one of the people I’ve met through jiu jitsu who is constantly teaching, someone who genuinely cares about the well being of his students and helping them understand the game. Sonny was my first jiu jitsu instructor at Gracie Tampa North and immediately made me feel welcome. His knowledge and love for the sport shows his dedication and effort put forth daily to achieve greatness. I consider myself very fortunate to be involved in such a positive learning environment and to be constantly inspired by the hard work of my teachers and peers. Sonny Parlin is a great instructor and training partner. I have trained with him multiple times and he is very technical and loves the art of jiu jitsu!
