The genesis of the brand began in a moment of clarity. On a late summer beautiful Sunday, while sitting on a sandbar watching our children play in the Florida sun and water, our group of friends looked to one another, smiled happily about the positivity of surrounding yourself with good people, clinked glasses and chanted, “Gotta Live!” From that moment, the phrase has become synonymous with our lifestyle and invokes a passion and zest for life. Ultraviolet Protection Factor is a rating system used for apparel. The rating indicates how effective the apparel is at shielding the sun’s ultraviolet rays. UPF is similar to SPF, the rating used for sunscreen products. UV protective clothing is the single most effective form of sun protection, even more than sunscreen, because it does not wash away and doesn’t need to be reapplied. Additionally, unlike some harmful sunscreen chemicals, sun protective clothing does not get absorbed into the skin. I purchased 2 rash guard shirts for my 10 and 8 year old children. We are huge boaters and our kids wear their swim clothes out!! We have been thrilled with the durability and style of these shirts!!
