ABOUT GOOD GRAEFF GOOD GRAEFF THE FAMILY BAND Comprised of twin sisters Brooke (guitar, lead vocals) and Brit (cello, backup vocals), Good Graeff came together to compete in a high school “Battle of the Bands.” Upon victory, the girls decided to bring their indie pop music to the streets of Sarasota, Florida, busking for tourists on the barrier islands. Beyond sharing the joy of in-the-moment creation (and some extra spending money), the girls never sought a music career. After high school, Brooke left for Toronto to begin a career in foley arts and sound editing, while Brit remained in Florida, attending UCF to study International Business and Marketing. GOOD GRAEFF THE EXPAT PARTY BAND Six years would go by with the girls seldom seeing each other, let alone playing music together. Upon recommendation from Brit, Brooke met her sister in Hanoi, Vietnam, where they lived in expat harmony, teaching English and conducting motorcycle tours through the countryside. Naturally, the sisters returned to what they always shared, and began making music on second (or third…) hand instruments. Neighbors overheard, and the band was brought back to the performance life. After a solid response in Vietnam, Good Graeff was brought back stateside. GOOD GRAEFF THE TOURING MACHINE Brooke: “It’s not easy living in a van and constantly touring, but I think thats what we like about it. It’s not something everyone can do.
