At the age of four I started having hearing problems in my right ear.  After many ear surgeries and hearing aids over the years I came to a place where I could not hear at all out of my right ear.   I had also lost about 45% in my left ear and it left me almost totally deaf.  I could not carry on a workable conversation with any one at that point.  I started doing research for a very high technology company that could make hearing aids for me.   After about eight months I found one.   Their technology was the very latest and they had units that could let me hear very well out of both ears like mini computers.  My left ear hearing aid was invisibly placed within my left ear and my right ear was placed behind the ear.  It is about 7/8”x3/16””x3/8”.   I could finally hear again and carry on a normal conversation besides all the other sounds I had been missing.  My wife has also dropped the divorce decree (Only Kidding).  Our company is called Med Rx and we have been selling to medical doctors around the U.S. with a medical sales rep force. Hearing aids help to reduce deterioration in psychological functioning as a result of hearing impairment.
