Goff Roofing was formed in 1983 by Mike Goff. For 15 years, the company grew to one of the larger residential roofing companies in Hillsborough and Polk counties, offering quality work for small to medium commercial jobs. Contracted jobs included the second Walmart built in the state (Plant City location) and 250,000 square feet of low income housing for the Plant City Housing Authority, to name a few. In 1997, Goff roofing was purchased by the Waller Group of Lakeland and the name was changed to Goff-Waller roofing. Mike Goff remained onboard as General Manager, overseeing day-to-day operations and expanding opportunities of the company. During the 14 years the company was owned by the Waller family, it grew into a very successful full-service roofing company offering a broad range of roof systems, service department, expanded warranties, and inspections. In 2004, when the state was ravaged by three hurricanes, Goff-Waller installed over 6,000 new roofs and completed more than 35,000 roofing repair jobs. The Waller family decided to concentrate their efforts in other directions and sold the roofing operations back to Mike Goff in 2011. Goff Roof Systems was formed and continues to offer the same great service and industry leading products people have come to expect from us. Goff Roof Systems employs the most experienced staff of mechanics and supervisors available, many with over 15 years of longevity with our company. We plan to continue using the same recipe for success proven effective in our previous 28 years of serving Central Florida’s roofing needs – offering great service and good, old-fashioned integrity.
