After an initial 6 year stint in retail, Andy joined World Service Life Insurance Company as a field representative and quickly rose to the position of VP, Director of Marketing. Andy left WSL in 1980 to form his own F&I Development Company, dealing primarily in the southeastern United States. Due to the company’s successful growth, it was acquired by Voyager Life Insurance Company, a subsidiary of Primerica Corp. Andy was named President and CEO of the new entity, Voyager Automotive Group. VAG grew to be one of the largest F&I development companies in the United States. In 1994, Andy fulfilled a lifelong dream to become a franchised automobile dealer when he purchased the first of his soon-to-be three franchises. During his tenure as a dealer, Andy served on the Georgia Auto Dealers Board of Directors and, for 23 years, was a member of the SE Dodge Advertising Board. In August 2015, Andy sold the last of the dealerships. With 47 years of retail, managerial, and professional experience in the business, Andy was ready to take one step further into the automotive industry: a culmination of the experience and discipline for which the previous decades had honed his skill. With a firm stride and a clear vision, Andy entered the field of automotive mergers and acquisitions.
