GHQ Studios is a professionally run recording studio in Jacksonville FL, equipped for studio and postproduction needs. We are a hybrid studio running all industry-standard digital audio software, with select analog flavors. This is a two room recording studio in which the control room is separated from the recording room by a 9 inch thick wall with staggering studs. This structural technique ensures minimal sound transfer from the recording room walls to the control room. Inches of soundproofing material are also placed between the drywall and studs on both sides of the wall. GHQ Studios can handle any project. From a complete Metal album to a single from an acoustic singer-songwriter, no project is out of reach. GHQ Studios is a recording studio perfect for any artist(s), from first timers to lifetime experienced. The owners of this studio are musicians first and engineers second. This is said to reassure the client that the focus of the project is on the artist's vision and not the dollar sign. Certain video production services will need a custom quote, but most scheduled studio time will be priced based on full day or half day rates. We advise all of our clients to bring an external hard drive at time of project completion. This is so the client can leave with the appropriate files and media. Unless requested otherwise, GHQ Studios will keep a copy of all client files on the studio drive; however, is not responsible if they get removed. Upon completion of the project the client is responsible for the files of the final product. The remaining balance is to be paid in full upon project completion. The client will not receive the final product files/media until payment completion.
