So after being disappointed, we scanned the docks and found a local captain filleting dolphin at the dock and talked to his customers. The good graces were shining on us, because we had a cancellation for the next day and we took it! He told us to meet him at the dock an hour earlier than normal because the tuna have been biting extremely early and shutting off by 8am. He called it! We ended up catching 4 tuna on the kite bites within the first hour. We had booked a half day trip and we picked at some more fish until it was time to go in.
