Gentle Care Nannies is a licensed Full Service Nanny and Domestic Staffing Agency which was formed in 2017 by Flo McCalla and Flavia Chistopher in Broward County, Florida. Our goal is to provide staffing that will go above and beyond in offering world class customer service to your families. In providing staffing for our families, we perform each search with the same attention to details (client needs) as if it were for our own family. Flo McCalla, is Co-founder and CEO of Gentle Care LLC. She holds a Bachelors degree in Business Management and a Master in Business Science Management, both from the University of South Florida. Ms McCalla has spent over 25 years in the corporate world, working at the management level, specifically in the area of human resource. She also has over 10 years experience working as a new born specialist. Many of her clients call her the "baby whisperer" Her expertise in caring for the needs of people is unquestionable, and all her skill set is now funneled into Gentle Care Nannies, a company offering world class service that is incomparable to any other in the industry. I immediately found Flo to be so warm, gentle, helpful and calm. I could tell immediately when she picked up my daughter that she had the perfect temperament for my family. I was so mixed about having any help as I didn’t think I’d be comfortable with anyone staying in our home especially when we have a new baby but my family convinced me I needed some help. As a first time mom the word neurotic does a pretty good job at describing me, so when a trustworthy family friend told me about Flo as a baby Nurse, I couldn't call her fast enough. The interview went famously--I truly felt like I already knew Flo and quickly felt comfortable. To my dismay Flo would not do 24 hour work and we had to accept the fact that Flo could only be our night nurse when our 24 hour nurse was off and then when she left. Flo sent me a list of items she recommends for the baby and the rest was history. Flo immediately felt like family. Her warm demeanor made everything so easy at a time in our lives that was far from easy. Flo is a breeze to talk to, has great advice to give and is also a good listener- it has always been a pleasure to have her in our home. I love watching Flo with our son- she talks to him, sings to him, makes animal noises, talks about the trees outside and really engages with him in an effort to teach him and keep him entertained- I truly couldn't ask for more. In looking for a nanny for the next phase I even asked Flo, do you know someone like you who wants to be a full time nanny?!
