How our company started and where we’re headed.
Genesis Employment Services Inc. was founded by Bob Burbidge. The goal? Be the regional HR partner that cares deeply about their client businesses and their employees.
Genesis founder and CEO Bob Burbidge was named president and board member of The National Association of Professional Employer Organizations (NAPEO)—a huge nod to our company and Bob’s leadership in the industry.
Our company’s growth meant a new name was in order. The company’s name officially changed from Genesis Consolidated Services Inc. to Genesis HR Solutions Inc., and we moved to our new headquarters in Burlington, Massachusetts.
Our team helped the New Hampshire Business Enterprise Tax (BET) pass—a huge win for small businesses in the state that means clients, not their PEOs, can claim the BET tax credits against business profits.
The Small Business Efficiency Act (SBEA) became law. This legislation means PEOs are recognized on a federal level and is a huge win for PEOs and their clients.
