         At the time of the 2010 census America had 2.3 million prisoners housed throughout the the United States.According to The Washington Post the national incarceration rate averaged about 707 adults that were incarcerated per every 100,000 residents.With astronomical numbers in the millions America has the highest incarceration rate in the world.What happens to the families of these individuals. According to Pewresearch.org 1 in 28 American children have a parent in jail or prison. Generations of Purpose is here to assist families who have been affected by incarceration. We focus on those families who are also victims to a failed Criminal Justice System. Through the Arts we are able to resume, rebuild, sustain and grow. It is a belief among some that children with incarcerated parents will follow in the foot steps of their incarcerated parent.We are here to provide an alternative to that unfortunate reality.We are here to change a negative into a positive. We are here to create Generations of Purpose Our goal is to help you and your family live a life on purpose. We want to assist you with the process of becoming the best version of yourself. We believe in a 4 step process that allows you to rebuild from the inside out. - Now that you have accepted terms with the incarceration of your loved one we will assist you with the process of rebuilding. This includes establishing a firm foundation mentally. Among other resources and classes we offer referrals to local therapist and offer bi-weekly support groups for children, spouses and caregivers. Growing up in the City Beautiful aka Orlando, FL, I've witnessed a tragedy which is a purposeless culture.In a cell  I realized that this is not what we were designed to be. I knew I was capable of being more than I was portraying. Husband, College Student, Business Owner and Producer all describe who I am today. Follow me as I demonstrate how to live a life on purpose.   As a troubled youth I was not aware of the affects incarceration had on my life. My teen years consisted of suspensions, fights and unstable relationships. After enduring many hardships and experiencing the absence of a father due to incarceration I realized that change began with me. I chose to be the best version of myself. I am now a Wife ,College Graduate, Business Owner  and Youth Advocate. Join Me as I share with you the principles that have changed my life and have allowed me to live a life on Purpose. Yayyy 2018!! We are soooo excited  to see what 2018 has in store for this next generation of leaders.
